Straube’s Aircraft Services started out in 1985 on the island of Maui, Hawaii, with one man’s vision and is proud to be celebrating their 38th year in the aviation industry.
In 1994, Straube’s established their west coast location in Kingman, Arizona. The Arizona location serves as Straube’s corporate headquarters and has provided painting and refinishing services to Red Bull, Air Methods, Grand Canyon Airlines, Papillion, Temsco, US Forest Service and The Spaceship Company.
In 2004, Straube’s Aircraft Services was awarded a GSA Schedule contract to paint and refurbish aircraft and aircraft related equipment for the Federal Government. Straube’s mobile crew has traveled across the globe working on damaged aircraft and static displays, including the Saturn V rocket and Lyndon B Johnson’s Jet Star.
By 2007, Straube’s had begun working with Leonardo Helicopters as their inhouse paint contractor at their facility in Philadelphia, PA. The facility specializes in the painting of newly manufactured helicopters.
